Prompt #1 – Dear Diary

Welcome to the first ever Revelations. A weekly blogging meme created to inspire you to reveal your revelations and hopefully find a bit of a community in the process. If you want to know more why I started this meme then check out Introduction Revelations.

What is the perfect prompt to start a new blogging meme? The answer is, there isn’t one. Stop over thinking it and use the first idea you had which when you really think about it might be the perfect place to start anyway. Welcome to my brain.

Dear Diary…

As it is the beginning of the year and 2023 stands fresh and new before us all then what better time to start writing a diary.

Obviously I am not expecting you to write it all this week for this meme but just use those words as inspiration for your post. Maybe you might want to write about your plans for 2023 or maybe your hopes and dreams? It could be about blogging but it could also be about any part of your life. Do you have goals for this year? Are you excited for a new year or is it just another day, another week etc in your life. Perhaps you keep a journal/diary every year and are excited to start work a new one.

Maybe the prompt inspires a piece of fiction. What does your characters diary entry say? What does it reveal about them?

As always let it inspire you in whatever way works for you and reveal your revelation!
