Revelations is a weekly blogging meme with an optional prompt where you can share whatever type of content (within the rules below) that works for you. That might be stories, poetry, images, personal essays, flash fiction etc. It might be one word or 1000 words. It might be one picture or many. It is totally up to you.

Same goes for genre. As I am a sex blogger my content will mostly fit within that genre but this meme is open to anyone as long as you are comfortable with the fact that other people joining in will be creating adult content. If not, then this is not the meme for you.

Revelations will open on a Sunday and run until the following Sunday

Each week there will be a prompt. Use it to inspire your work or not.

As long as you adhere to the Revelation rules below you can link in your post.

Revelations is a safe and inclusive space and everyone and anyone is welcome to participate.

Misogynistic, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, whorephobic, body shaming or any kind of hateful language will be not be tolerated.

Revelation Rules.

1. You must 18 years of age or over.
2. Your post can be absolutely anything: Image, poetry, fiction, first hand experiences, thought pieces etc
3. Revelations is sex, kink, body etc positive meme. If you are writing posts that are misogynistic, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, whorephobic, etc. or are essentially pick up artist tips, then your blog is not sex positive and I will remove your blog from the linky tool.
4. No images of illegal activities including, drug taking, bestiality, paedophilia or any sexual acts with a minor.
5. Please use appropriate content warnings warnings in your post if you are writing about a subject that warrants it. If in doubt then I would always say use them rather than don’t.
6. Your post must contain the Revelation badge and link back to the current weeks post or this homepage.
7. Please use images in your post ethically. If you did not take them please credit the artist that did.
8. Revelations is for original content only. Your post should be dated within the last 7 days of any given week.
9. You can link into other memes alongside Revelations.
10. No password protected posts
11. I reserve the right to remove any links to posts that I deem unacceptable.
12. Tweet, promote, tell your friends about it as much as you can and lastly but by no means least please don’t forget to visit the other people who are playing along and leave them some comment love.
